This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold and disclose personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What personal information we collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you enquire about our services, request a quote, or engage us for a project. This may include your name, business or organisation name, email address, phone number, site address, and any details you include in your enquiry or project documentation.

We may also collect information about your project requirements (for example, site conditions, drawings or tender documents) where it is necessary to scope and deliver the works you have requested.

We use personal information to: respond to your enquiries and provide quotes; deliver, manage and complete fencing and gate installation projects; communicate with you about projects, scheduling and warranties; comply with our legal, insurance and licensing obligations (including QBCC requirements); and, where you have agreed, keep you informed about our services.

Where we use your information for direct marketing, you may ask us to stop at any time.

4. When we disclose personal information

We only disclose personal information to third parties where it is necessary to deliver our services or required by law. This may include subcontractors and suppliers engaged on your project, our insurers and professional advisers, and government or regulatory bodies where disclosure is legally required.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. Service providers who handle personal information on our behalf are required to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we have authorised.

5. Storage and security

We hold personal information in electronic and physical form and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These measures include access controls, secure storage and limiting access to personnel who need it to perform their role.

6. Access and correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We will respond within a reasonable period.

We will not charge you for making an access or correction request, although we may charge a reasonable fee where a substantial amount of work is required to retrieve and provide the information.

7. Overseas disclosure

We store and process personal information in Australia wherever practicable. Where information must be disclosed to an overseas recipient (for example, a cloud software provider), we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient complies with the Australian Privacy Principles.
